Haleh Nekoorad-Long, M.D., a certified geriatric psychiatrist, is the Medical Director of the Geriatric psychiatry unit at Cascade Behavior health.
She attended medical school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She completed her residency at the Emory University School of Medicine, specializing in general psychiatry. Following her residency, she completed a fellowship at the Emory University School of Medicine in Geriatric Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry.
Dr. Nekoorad-Long is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc., a member board of the American Board of Medical Specialties. She is also a member of the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatrists.
As a geriatric psychiatrist, Dr. Nekoorad-Long primarily works with aging adults and issues regarding dementia, depression, and bipolar disorder. She also helps aging adults manage multiple medications and their possible interactions.
