Program Overview

What treatment in Cascade’s mental health PHP looks like

The typical length of stay in our co-occurring partial hospitalization program is two to three weeks. After completion of PHP, patients are referred to outpatient services for continuing care. All treatment plans at Cascade are based on each person’s unique strengths and challenges, and are crafted by our team of experienced, compassionate professionals. These professionals include psychiatrists, master’slevel therapists, and registered nurses.

  • Master’s-level therapists teach specific coping skills that are relevant to the population receiving care.
  • Clinicians lead groups that promote various mind-body awareness techniques, self-care, relaxation exercises, medication education, and nutrition.
  • Family groups are available for education and support.

Additionally, patients benefit from the following:

  • Weekly individual therapy sessions
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Acceptance and commitment therapy
